Off to 2-0 start, Terps enjoying rare success

It was ridiculously easy, as any 59-point victory can be described. But for the Maryland Terrapins, a program for which victories have been rare, Saturday was sweet indeed.

Playing for the second time in six days, the Terps matched their victory total from 2009 and improved to 2-0 this season, routing Morgan State 62-3 at home. (Read More…)

Maryland comes through, knocks off Navy in opener

A 10-win Navy team from last season. A two-win Maryland team from last season. A statsheet lopsided in its dominance by the Midshipmen.

And yet, it’s Maryland which is 1-0 on the new season. The Terps made the plays when they needed it most, downing Navy 17-14 on Monday in Baltimore. (Read More…)
